Last week’s annual Prouty, a Dartmouth Cancer Center fund-raising event, featured cycling a variety of routes through area towns, walking, rowing, volunteering and other family-friendly activities, with hundreds of volunteers, like the ones seen above staffing a Stop and Go rest area during the event. The rest area was along Route 5 near Bradford’s Clara Martin Center. About 1,000 riders were estimated to have stopped there while on the way back to the Richmond Middle School in Hanover, where the trek began.
