April 30, 2026
A sincere and heartfelt thank you to all the poets who shared their voices and creativity in the 9th Annual Bradford Poem Town! This year’s event features more than 160 original poems, displayed in local storefront windows throughout the month of April.
This year’s TEEN PLAYWRIGHT WORKSHOP, led by guest artist Kailie Larkin, will take place on Wednesday, May 6, and Thursday, May 21, from 3:30–5:30 PM at the library. Kailie holds a Master’s degree in Theater Education from City College of New York, and her expertise spans improvisation, devising, Shakespeare, clowning, mask work, shadow cinema, puppetry, and playwriting.
This free workshop is designed to prepare participants for the 2026 TEEN THEATER CAMP and production. The camp, open to teens ages 12 and up, will run July 27–31, culminating in a public performance at 4 PM on Friday, July 31, in the Bradford Academy Auditorium.
The playwright workshop, the week-long theater camp, and the final performance are free and open to the public thanks to the financial support of Vermont Humanities. Call the library at 802-222-4536, or email gail@bradfordvtlibrary.org to register.
The SPRING PUZZLE CHALLENGE will take place on Saturday, May 30, beginning at 9:00AM. Teams of up to four members each receive identical 500 piece puzzles. The first team to complete the puzzle wins a gift certificate to RAE’S CAFE in Bradford. Teams must register by calling or emailing the library.
The library Board of Trustees are accepting donations of quality items and potted plants for the annual Plant Book & Yard Sale being held on May 23, from 8AM - 1PM at 295 North Main St. in Bradford. All proceeds from the sale support library programs which are always free and open to the public.
