Bradford Public Library News for May
This year’s TEEN PLAYWRIGHT WORKSHOP, led by guest artist Kailie Larkin, will take place on Wednesday, May 6, and Thursday, May 21, from 3:30–5:30 PM at the library. Kailie holds a Master’s degree in Theater Education from City College of New York, and her expertise spans improvisation, devising, Shakespeare, clowning, mask work, shadow cinema, puppetry, and playwriting.
Lots of Save the Dates at Tenney for Spring
Now that it is getting warmer and we may be on our screened porches,remember that Tenney has lots & lots of adult puzzles for you to check out as you would a book. We also have many magazines for short reads, including small journals of mystery stories by Ellery Queen & Alfred Hitchcock. These have no ads!
We will be hosting our ANNUAL POETRY SLAM featuring our Newbury Elementary School students. This will be held on Tuesday, May 5th, starting at 1:15. Patents, grandparents, neighbors…everyone is welcome to this event.

Things are really blooming at Tenney Library….starting with the free organic seeds that High Mowing Seeds has given us for our patrons to plant. Tenney pays the postage and you plant the veggies. What a deal!
