Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August.”
- The Summer I Turned Pretty, Jenny Han
We launched our summer magic at Blue Mountain Union School with a visit from author Christy Mihaly and free books from the Children’s Literacy Foundation for students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Are you ready to kick start your magical summer adventures? Then make your way to Baldwin Memorial Library.
Every Friday through the end of August we will be hosting Feel Good Fridays beginning at noon! Our Share the Harvest table will be set up in front of the library for the exchange of fresh, local produce. This is a "take what you need, leave what you can" offering, and donations are very appreciated. Inside we will have a different activities to enjoy each week including games and art projects. We encourage you to bring your lunch, and enjoy our picnic table and garden space behind the library.
For fun on the run, we have activity kits to borrow. Our Adventure Packs are filled with nature based books and activities. These bags are great to take on hiking or biking adventures. They are filled with books to learn about animals and their habitats. Our Lit Kits are perfect for rainy days and long car rides. These bags are filled with books, crafts and activities to keep little hands busy and little minds engaged.
