The Fair

The Fair

I came across a little ant.

I saw it at the fair.

It crept around the picnic treats.

I laid and watched and stared.

Then out-of-the-blue, it suddenly turned. It spied my juicy pear.

I blinked a blink and winked a wink.

It shook its head, I swear.

I made a face and growled a growl

To scare it here and there.

It blinked right back and made a face. Then skedaddled from the fair.
