Ask Any Dog

Cement is cool

Ask any dog

Napping at will

Just lying around

“Summer’s too hot

Leave me alone.

I’m comfy here.

Let me be.’

“Time for dinner

I get up

I stretch out

I mosey over

I fill up

I wander back”

People, people, people

Always rushing, rushing

Spinning, spinning, spinning

They’ll never understand.

Take the time

Smell the flowers”

Cement is cool

Ask any dog
