Wayne Douglas Aldrich

Lebanon, NH- Wayne Douglas Aldrich, 71, passed away at the Veterans Hospital in White River Junction, VT on Wednesday March 25, 2026.He was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Jacob & Jacqueline (Valrintz) Aldrich. Wayne grew up in Woodsville, NH graduating from Woodsville High School , class of 1973. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Air Force where he honorably served 23 years before his discharge. Wayne had also worked as an EMT and firefighter. He was an honorary life member of the American Legion Guyer-Carignan Post 22 in Lebanon, NH. He was a life member of the NRA and a life member of the Grafton County Fish & Game Association. He enjoyed, flying, fishing, hunting, traveling, hiking and shooting.

Wayne is survived by his sister, Cheryl Young, three grandchildren Dalton, Skyler and Angel Litchel, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Jason Aldrich, a daughter Angela Aldrich, a sister Joyce Woods and a brother Christopher Aldrich.

Family and friends are invited to Wayne’s graveside service at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH on June 3, 2026 at 11:00am. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
