Susan J. (Libby) Vance

Susan J. (Libby) Vance, 81, of Groton, Vermont, passed away on July 5, 2026, at Cottage Hospital.
She was born in Hardwick, Vermont, on June 5, 1945, daughter of the late Calvin J. and Evelyn P. (Gay) Libby and had been a resident of Groton for the past 31 years. Susan worked for BMU High School for 29 years until she retired.
She is survived by her children, Judith G. Henrikson of Chester, NH; Bonnie Vance of Cumberland, ME and husband Dana Belisle, and their children Brooks, Gabe and Mariah; Richard (Rick) Vance, Jr., and his wife Melissa of Bath, NH, and his son Joshua and two great grandchildren Logan and Charlotte, sisters Pat Shonio and Georgia Rexford and her husband Howard and one brother Donald Libby. As well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Vance; siblings Calvin, Myron, Mildred, Betty Lou, Mary; and a son-in-law, Carl Henrikson.
