Steven P. Fullerton
February 19, 2026
Steven P. Fullerton, 55, Monroe, NH, passed away on February 6, 2026, at his home following a courageous and lengthy battle with illness. Known for his strength, bravery, and a trademark stubbornness that served him well until the end, Steve lived life on his own terms.
A proud veteran, Steve served with honor in the United States Marine Corps for several years. He was a graduate of Woodsville High School, Class of 1988.
Steve was a man of the outdoors - found peace in the woods and on the water, whether he was hunting turkey, deer, bear, pheasant, coon, etc or out fishing for trout especially at Lake Lapoe, in Canada. He had a passion for "toys"—boats, four-wheelers, and snowmobiles.
Steve’s sense of humor and stubbornness was a staple of his personality. In his final years, he made it a point to live life to the fullest, including pheasant hunting in Colorado, going on a tropical vacation and renovating his new home and even bigger garage.
Steve was predeceased by his mother Shirley (Thayer) Fullerton. He is survived by his father, John Fullerton Jr. of Woodsville, NH, as well as many family and friends including beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss his spirit and his stories.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10am at Ricker Funeral Home, Woodsville, NH. Burial will take place on June 6, 2026, with a short ceremony at Pine Grove Cemetery in Woodsville, NH at 10am.
