Robert N. Terrill

Robert N. Terrill, known by many as “Bob”, passed away in Scarborough, Maine on September 10, 2025, after a fall with injury.
Robert was born on January 13, 1939, in Hanover, NH to Roger and Dorothea (Davis) Terrill.
Robert was raised in Bradford Vermont. After graduating from the Bradford Academy in 1957, Robert joined the US Air Force National Guards. He was stationed in Presque Isle
Maine before returning to Bradford, where he resided for most of his adult life. He and Mildred had relocated to South Carolina to enjoy the warmer weather in 2015 but returned to Maine in 2024 to be closer to family.
Robert married Mildred (Sargent) on April 15, 1959, and they had 4 children. Robert was employed by Hilltop Dairy, Allen Refrigeration and Hasting Builders before becoming Self Employed as a Licensed Electrician in the early 1990s. Robert was also the Business Owner of Suds Your Duds Laundromat for 16 years before retirement.
Robert was a dedicated Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Robert was also a very active community member for the Town of Bradford, having served as a member of the Bradford Fire Department for 46 years and the Bradford Water Board for 18 years.
Robert enjoyed several hobbies, including building things (woodworking), yard landscaping, watching Nascar Racing, Puzzles, and visiting with friends and neighbors.
Robert is predeceased by his parents, Roger and Dorothea Terrill and brother James Terrill.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mildred of Scarborough ME, daughter Deborah Terrill
of Chelsea Vt, son R. Todd (Rhonda) Terrill of Bradford Vt, daughter Catherine (Daryl) Smith of Scarborough, ME, and daughter Sue Grady of College Park, GA, 10 Grandchildren (Kevin,
Andrea, Keagon, Brittney, Ryan, Chelsea, Thomas, James, Dalton and Joshua) and 9 Great Grandchildren (Ashton, Jayden, Jyanna, Elyjah, Maddox, Nolan, Lucas, Emersyn and Cora).
A Celebration of Life will be held at the State Manufactured Home Community Center, 108 Hillcrest Ave, Scarborough ME on September 23, 2025 at 2pm. A second celebration of life will be held at the East Corinth Vermont Ballfield on October 4th from 11am – 2pm.
