Randall Wheeler

West Newbury, VT – Randall “Randy” L. Wheeler, 62, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the University of Vermont Medical Ceneter. He was born in St. Johnsbury, VT on October 9, 1963, to JoAnne (Peavey) and James Wheeler.

Randy went to school in Newbury for grades 1 – 6, and then attended Oxbow for grades 7 – 12, and while he was in high school, he worked at Tyler Farms. After high school he spent one semester at Vermont Technical College, but decided college was not for him.

He worked at the Ryegate Paper Mill, Trumbal Nelson. He helped his dad building homes, then he started his own business, Randy Wheeler Concrete. He also volunteered on the Newbury Fire Department. Randy built his own home, and got married in 1993 and had three boys, John, Scott and Allan.

Randy love to go hunting, not only in Vermont and New Hampshire, but in Colorado and British Columbia too. He enjoyed fishing all over Vermont and New Hampshire as well, but also did some deep-sea fishing.

He was predeceased by his mother, JoAnne Wheeler, 1943 – 2013.

Randy is survived by his three sons, John Wheeler, Scott Wheeler, and Allan Wheeler; his father, James Wheeler; his brother, Christopher Wheeler; his nephew and nieces, Logan, Kristin, and Rebecca; and his great nieces and nephews, Aalyah, Parker, Talon, Briannah, Hailey, McKinley and Carson.

There will be no calling hours, and there will be a private burial in the spring.
