It's really heavy heart that we announce the passing of a beautiful soul. Going to John Thornton and Nancy Patton. She was born in St johnsbury V.T. Lived in Woodsville N.H. as a child. Move to Spofford N.H. after school. She lived a life grounded in compassion community and unwavering. She dedicated over 12 years of her professional life as a manager at residential resources. Where she was tirelessly advocating for the disabled community. She made laughing impacts on countless lives. Lori's heart was rooted in her family she was a mother sister and mother too many. She was a warm meal, safe place to stay in a shoulder to cry on. Free deceased by her brother Richard Thornton and her son's Christopher and Carl thornton. Survived by her brother's Norman Thornton and Kenneth Thornton. She shared 23 wonderful years with her partner Christopher Damon. She was a proud and devoted mother to her children. Jonathan Goodnow and wife Jamie, Christina Goodnow and husband Zachary, Justin Forbes and wife Christina, Travis Prentice. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren Cameron, Aidan, Patrick, Kayla, Ben, Justin and Nevaeh. Gloria had a deep love for plants and frogs. Her fondants for Fry's brought her joy and comfort throughout her life. She will be remembered as a woman of fierce love, compassion and generosity. Her legacy lives in the lives she touched in the family she built.
