Born in Woodsville, NH, on March 24, 1938, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Heartz) Frost. Ham attended school in South Ryegate.
A hard worker throughout his life, Ham’s first job was helping to cut a path for a power line stretching from Scotch Hollow Road in Newbury to Corinth. He went on to work for many years in the chicken barns at Fisk Farm. He later joined Britton Lumber in Fairlee, VT, where he worked as a forklift operator until his retirement.
Ham was a true outdoorsman who loved spending time in the woods. Whether he was cutting firewood or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of nature, he was happiest outside. He looked forward to maple sugaring, hunting, and fishing. In his leisure time, he also enjoyed bowling and riding snow machines. Ham was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Woodsville.
On October 11, 1986, he married Thelma Ricker at the Groton Baptist Church. Together, they celebrated 39 years of marriage.
Ham is survived by his wife, Thelma Frost of South Ryegate; a sister, Bernadine Rodgers of Indiana; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, L. Ellsworth Frost, Calvin Frost, and Charles Frost; and a sister, Pauline Adamese.
There will be a graveside service on May 15, 2026, at 10 AM at Pinehurst Cemetery in South Ryegate. Those who wish may make donations in memory of Ham Frost to the Calvary Baptist Church, 20 Elm St. Woodsville, NH 03765
