Dorothy was a devout Roman Catholic and volunteered at her Church ironing the linens and singing in the Latin/English Choir, Dorothy was a contralto with a strong, rich tone to her voice that had an impactful presence.
Dot had deep persistent faith, and fierce intercession with intense devotion to The Sacred Heart of Jesus and The Immaculate Heart of Mary. Dorothy had many favorite Saints especially St. Joseph the carpenter and the Little Flower, Saint Therese of the child Jesus.
