Debbie Ann Mitchell (Mozeika)
March 05, 2026
Deb went home to the Lord on Friday the 13th of February at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon NH. Deb was born October 4th, 1962 to Edward and Ruth Mozeika (Hudson) in Passaic NJ. At an early age Deb lost her father, then her mother and brothers moved to NH. She attended the Haverhill Academy, and later the Woodsville High School. She and her mother and brothers then moved to Mechanicville NY, where Deb spent many years in different towns surrounding the area. She moved back to the Haverhill area in the early 90's, and met Bob Mitchell (Mitch- the tomato man) who was a glorified dirt farmer full of spunk, he would teach you a lesson.. period. Together they raised Debs children Jennifer, Nathan and Sarah, along with Bob's son Nick. Deb and Bob were hard working, and raised all of their kids with a strong work ethic. In Debs downtime she along with family frequently camped lakeside on Tarleton, for weeks on end during really hot summer stretches, as we were too cheap for air conditioning. The only place better was to be at York Beach ME, again camping. Deb and Bob took their grandchildren to the coast as often as possible, they once spent the day in the tent eating doritos and lobster due to it raining the whole day. She liked to say funny things like "smells like yesterdays bacon" and "it ain't bad, but it definitely ain't good." Deb spent the later years of her life being very involved with the First Congregational Church of Haverhill. She was a dedicated Decon and council member. Deb was predeceased by her parents, husband Bob Mitchell, step-son Nick Mitchell, and grandson Cameryn Greene, as well as a best friend of over 30 years, Annie Searle. Deb is survived by children Rebecca Fay (Roy), Jennifer Russell (Glenn), Sarah Russell and Nathan Russell, grandchildren Angel Stoddard (Travis), Kaleb Johnson, Landyn Russell and Brandon Mitchell, brothers Eddie, Bob and Joe. At the time of this printing a celebration of Deb will be planned at the First Congregational Church of Haverhill- date to be determined.
