Deb was a very ambitious, determined, driven person. When she made her mind up to do a project, she was not quitting until it was done. The drive is shown in her lovely flower gardens, the walls of her entire home and the popular Horse Meadow Senior Center of North Haverhill, NH. Deb, Bruce Weisner and Bertha Farnham spent many months working to find land and have the center built. Deb was the director at the time and for many years, and provided love to everyone who came through the doors. She was employed by Grafton County Senior Citizens Council for 27 years.
Deb fiercely loved her four boys and was the true example of human kindness and a steady, safe place for so many. Her love of nature, animals, and family was evident. If a loved one was in need, she dropped everything and was there for them. She left the world she touched a better place through her words, acts of kindness or just her presence.
She leaves behind her husband, Michael Cassidy, his four adult children and their families, her four sons, Troy Pierson, Chad Pierson, Ryan Pierson and wife Liza, and T.J. Foster, her sister Wanda Peters, brother Daryl Hamlett and wife Sharon, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Madine and Delmar Hamlett, brothers Glen Hamlett and Larry Hamlett, and friend Kristen Witter. She will be greatly missed by so many.
Following Debs wishes, there will be no formal service. Anyone who wishes to send condolences can make a donation to Horse Meadow Senior Center in Deb’s honor at 91 Horse Meadow Road, North Haverhill, NH 03774 also where senior center friends have decided to have a gathering on October 12th from 1-3 to show their appreciation for her many heartfelt years of service to GCSCC.
