Christina Kalariotes Oakes

Christina Kalariotes Oakes, 66, passed peacefully on March 9, 2026, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family. She was born October 31, 1959, the daughter of the late William Arthur and Emily Jaqueline Kalariotis of Manchester, New Hampshire.
Christina is survived by her husband, Peter Oakes of Anson, Maine; her son, Nicholas Myers of Chester,New Hampshire; her granddaughter, Ava Oakes-Myers of Anson, Maine; her sister, Beth-Anne Hale of Woodsville, New Hampshire; and brothers Shane Kalariotes of Hooksett, New Hampshire and Terry Jensen of Manchester, New Hampshire, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Christina devoted much of her life to caring for others. She worked in several fields including plumbing, auto body work, manufacturing, and nursing, which she especially loved for the opportunity it gave her to care for the elderly.
She was known for her generosity and her love of helping children, often purchasing clothing and necessities for families in need. Christina enjoyed crafts, cooking traditional Greek recipes, thrifting, yard sales, and spending time with family.
