Gail Trede
It is summer at the Bradford Public Library! ~ Whether you're diving into a great book, joining a creative workshop, or exploring hands-on activities, the library is your hub for imagination and connection all summer long. From toddlers to teens, adults to seniors, there’s something here for everyone!

Kids!
Sign up for the Summer raffle every time you come to the library for a chance to win a remote control brick building set or another great prize! And don’t forget to guess how many Pokemon figures are in the jar! Summer Readers earn a FREE ICE CREAM CONE from The Little Grille at the Mill, and FREE Summer Meals for Kids and Teens are available on W-TH- & Fri. This year’s Teen Humanities Camp features a teen playwright festival sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council. The original production will be performed on August 1, at 4PM in the Bradford Academy Auditorium and like all library programs, is Free & Open to the community. Check out the accompanying graphic and all summer programs for children!

Ongoing library programs include:
Spanish Conversation ~ Tuesdays at 12:30pm

We are pleased to announce that our library has been selected as one of 300 nationwide to participate in round three of Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities, an American Library Association (ALA) initiative that provides community engagement and accessibility resources to small and rural libraries to help them better serve people with disabilities. With this grant award, we are able to make updates to better serve folks with vision and hearing impairments, making library programs more accessible for everyone. Improvements include an 86” large format presentation display board, as well as window treatments to darken the room and reduce glare for program participants. We also have an Echenbach Vario Digital FHD desktop video magnifier that will enlarge an image of text onto a monitor screen, allowing for contrast changes to make text easier to read. Stop by and let us know if this device suits your needs and our goal of making the library accessible to everyone!

Stay posted on all that is happening at the library by signing up for our Monthly Newsletters, checking out your community listserv, going to the BPL facebook/instagram, or by stopping by the library!
