A Handicapped Parking Space
A person does not need to be in a wheelchair to benefit from a handicapped parking space. A person doesn’t have to be “old” nor “look like” they need to use the space. As the population ages not only will more spaces will be needed, but it makes business sense too.
Less State Funding
New Hampshire gives less state funding to public schools than any other state. Because of this, towns have to make up the difference with high property taxes. In Haverhill, many taxpayers are frustrated. Property taxes keep going up, while state support keeps going down.
March 28 No Kings Rallies Planned Locally
Locally, four rallies are planned to make a full day of it. Starting on the Orford-Fairlee bridge at 10 am, then on to Bradford at Rts. 5 and 25 at 11 am, and Newbury Common at noon, the day will finish up at Littleton’s rally, 2-4 pm.
