
Be sure to mark all the interesting programs that weill be held in Newbury to celebrate our country’s 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence. I will not print everything in this entry, but save March 22nd for local Ian Clark’s interesting and beautiful program on his visit to Alaska and his relationship with the Puffins he observed there.
Watch for the date for a reading from Suzanne Lupen’s new book, Robins Come, farmer’s essays from the field. I think you will enjoy the photographs as well as the writing.
The Book Group will be discussion the book 2050 another book of essays by a number of Vermonters on what they expect Vermont's future may be like in 2050. Several of the writers will be at Tenney on May 2nd , Saturday at 4:00pm. Do you have any ideas about what life will be like in 2050? Come and discuss your ideas.
Remember that we have many free and reduced passes for various places in Vermont that can be enjoyed now that the weather is getting warmer soon.
REMEMBER that April 15th is when our income tax returns are due. Tenney Library has the forms you need to fill out and the phone number you will need to call to make an appointment. AARP has trined these helpers and their services are free to you. Be sure to call ASAP. April 15th will be here before you know it.
