
Wish the public would be friendlier. Like when I’m on an Accessible trail. We are all welcome.
One time I had a check up. The Nurse kept on talking to me like a child. I looked at her and said, “Talk to me, not down.” And she talked to me.
Here’s another example of being Disabled. I run into people who like to say - you are Special. I despise the word. My response is we all are Special. Granted we all have different backgrounds/personalities. It would be nice to show Respect. You should not need a reason to be Respectful. You should have been raised that way.
