The Weather Was Crisp But Beautiful
"When it came time to play the National Anthem, the announcer ran into technical difficulties and couldn't get the recording to work. Without missing a beat, a group of young men in the BFA crowd began singing the first verse of 'The Star-Spangled Banner.' Within moments, the rest of the crowd joined in, and soon a chorus of voices rose above the grandstand.
National Long Distance Sidecar Dog
Last week, Pete shared an invitation to a talk he would be giving at the library. We thought it was well worth a share:

Walk to School Day
"This morning, in the rain, something beautiful happened. Volunteers and parents showed up across our city, at intersections, on the sidewalks, at the WSD school entrance, to walk alongside our kids and make sure they felt safe, seen, and supported. They didn't have to do that. They chose to. And that choice matters more than I can say.
