National Long Distance Sidecar Dog

Front Porch Forum hosts online newsletters in every town in Vermont. Neighbors, nonprofits, businesses, and government officials can post messages, share news, get advice, make recommendations, announce events, sell items, and much more. It's all about helping neighbors to connect and build community.
Each week, one posting is selected for its humor, storytelling, or community-building, and then shared throughout the state. And, now you can read it here in The Bridge Weekly.
The town of Craftsbury hosts a "Craftsbury University" series in which residents share their expertise with the local community through free workshops and classes over the course of a few weeks each spring. The organizers and instructors often turn to FPF to spread the word about upcoming events.
Last week, Pete shared an invitation to a talk he would be giving at the library. We thought it was well worth a share:
"You've probably seen us around the village in our bright yellow sidecar. What you didn't know is that Glenlivet, the remarkable dog I lost last autumn to cancer, was a four-time winner of the National Long Distance Sidecar Dog award with over 50,400 miles under his collar!
Join us on May 15 for an entertaining one-hour evening class including a slideshow about our adventures and challenges as I begin training my next furry navigator, one-year-old Enkidu."
