I live on Mud City Loop
By Susannah Kerest
Front Porch Forum hosts online newsletters in every town in Vermont. Neighbors, nonprofits, businesses, and government officials can post messages, share news, get advice, make recommendations, announce events, sell items, and much more. It's all about helping neighbors to connect and build community.
Ivy posted this inquiry in the Morrisville Forum. We thought it was well worth a share:
"Do you like riding your bike and meeting interesting bovines?
"I live on Mud City Loop, and I have a 3-year-old trained steer who is a little bit scared of bikes.
"I'm hoping someone (or a few someones) who rides the loop could spend 15 minutes riding past us while we do different things and see if that helps. Any morning would work for us. Any time between 6-10 am.
"Let me know if you'd like to join the experiment. Thanks!"
Each week, one posting is selected for its humor, storytelling, or community-building, and then shared throughout the state. And, now you can read it here in The Bridge Weekly.
