Connect Neighbors
By Susannah Kerest
Front Porch Forum hosts online newsletters in every town in Vermont. Neighbors, nonprofits, businesses, and government officials can post messages, share news, get advice, make recommendations, announce events, sell items, and much more. It's all about helping neighbors to connect and build community.
Each week, one posting is selected for its humor, storytelling, or community-building, and then shared throughout the state. And, now you can read it here in The Bridge Weekly.

Jamie recently posted in the Middlesex Forum. We thought it was well worth a share:
"My name is Jamie. I am Lynne W.'s son and Bob L.'s stepson. Some of you may know that Lynne passed away in September, and Bob followed her in April. The time with them in their final days/weeks was extremely special, and we are the lucky ones who got to be at their bedsides (both) when they left for the next realm. My mother particularly loved Front Porch Forum and regularly sent me stories and posts from here. For all of you who helped build this community and connect neighbors, simply by being here, thank you. It was an important part of their lives.
"I will be posting here in the coming days, looking for assistance with various things and also offering certain items from the house that may find a new life in your homes."
