Dean was never shy about expressing himself in answer to whatever questions I or other guests would have. We had radio and media forums at the P&H Truck Stop, at various schools, and in the studio. Dean was a valuable part of our veterans' group, local organizations, and business associates who put together multiple forums for the community to listen and participate.

LAST WEEKEND, THE FANELLI FAMILY WAS BACK IN TOWN AS PART OF THE NORTH HAVERHILL FAIR.

During those early years, around 1982, I recall Fanelli Amusements coming to the fair and setting up their array of different rides and amusements. The company leader at that time was Mr. Jack Fanelli (whose father had set up the company many years earlier), who roamed the midway and other areas, making sure everything was operating safely, that things were going smoothly and that everyone was having a good time.

For the next hour and one-half, the lead cruisers, 200 motorcycles, associated civilians, and the Claremont Fire Department escorted the two-mile long caravan through small towns along the way, ending our trip at Monadnock Park, where the wall was to be assembled and available for public viewing until Sunday, June 29, 2025.
