Stuart A. Hood

Stuart A. Hood, 73, of Champlain, New York passed away August 1, 2026 from a lengthy illness.
He was born at Barre Hospital on August 30, 1953. In his younger years he loved to hunt and snow mobile with his younger brothers. He attended school and graduated from Newbury High School.
He was the son of Marjorie Saloman and stepson to Arthur (Stub) Hood. He is survived by his three sis ters, Kathy West of North Woodstock, NH, Debra Carbee of Groton, VT, Rhonda LaLonde of Groton, VT, and one brother, Jeffery Hood of Manchester, NH. He is also survived by two sons, Jan Hood and Jesse Hood, and a few grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Also, “Good Friends” from Champlain, NY including Todd Laurin and Ryan. He is pre-deceased by his mother Marjorie, stepfather Arthur (Stub) Hood, younger brother Terry, and two of his children, Angel Marlie and Jeremy Stuart.
