Larry Neil Dunbar

Larry Neil Dunbar, 77, of Rumney, NH, died at his home on August 27, 2026, following a period of failing health.
He was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, on August 6, 1949, to Neil and Jean (Bedell) Dunbar. Larry graduated from McIndoes Academy in 1969. Over his career, he worked for Dunbar's Plumbing and Heating, Comerford Dam, and retired from the Glencliff Home after 40 years of service.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Diane; and a brother, Danny Dunbar.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas Dunbar and his partner; his daughter, Katie Jean Dunbar; a stepson, Ozzie; two brothers, Gary Dunbar and his wife Martha, and Randy Dunbar and his wife Barbara; two sisters, Nancy Ilsley and her husband David, and Pamela Tetrault and her husband Paul; and a niece, Kara Gooden.
The family would like to extend gratitude and thanks to North Country Home Health and Hospice, and a special thank you to his niece Kara Gooden who also works for NCHHH, as was with him in his final moments. They would also like to thank the Rumney FAST Squad and Fire Department for their work.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Monroe Village Cemetery.
