We Aren’t Meant To Know It All

By Tina Gilson

People often make remarks along the lines of, “If I were psychic, I’d win the lottery”, “My life would be great because I’d know everything and have all the answers”, and other absolutely foolish remarks along those lines. No one wishes more than I do that it worked that way. I would be able to solve a lot of problems for myself and others if that were the case.

There are things even the most gifted psychic or medium cannot know. Just like your mechanic may be brilliant and know everything about cars like yours, sometimes they can’t figure out what that noise is or why you keep having engine issues. Just like sometimes you must see multiple doctors before they figure out what is causing your health problems, if they can at all. I also believe we are sometimes just not meant to know the answers right now. It may not be in our highest good, or it may not be time yet.

All of that said, when I KNOW something, I KNOW it. I may or may not share the information, but if I am confident about an answer, I trust it. During a seance some time ago, I heard very clearly that the client should not sell a particular part of their property. She said she had no plans to ever sell it, it wasn’t something that was on her mind at all. I told her the message was loud and clear, so keep it in the back of her mind. I saw her recently and, much to everyone’s surprise, they decided to sell their property. Except for a small parcel. This is one of a multitude of examples I could share.

I am confident everyone reading this can think of a time when a little voice in your head told you something, and it turned out to be true. Buy that scratch ticket, call that friend, bring your coat today.... all sorts of seemingly innocuous things. We all have that ability. It just sometimes speaks louder than others, and some people are more in touch with it than others.

I often find I am far more confident with the information I receive for other people. I often second-guess things for myself when I don’t tend to question them for others very often. I question if I’m just hoping the information is true, if I’m afraid something is wrong, if I’m making the right choice, and so on. Being a psychic medium doesn’t always preclude me from doubts and uncertainty that everyone feels from time to time.

I also am a firm believer that my abilities are not meant to be used in a selfish manner. I am not here to get rich or famous. Ego and has no place in this work as far as I’m concerned. I believe I am meant to be of service and use my skills to help others. But none of us are meant to know everything all the time.
